Privacy Policy | Intelligent Pipeline Solution

We respect your attention. You came here to understand utility connections, not to wonder what happens to your data. This page explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

If you have any questions after reading this, you can reach out directly. I personally read every message that comes through the site.

What information we collect

We keep this deliberately minimal. If you browse the site, we don’t need your name, email, or location. The only information we collect falls into these categories:

  • Information you choose to give us. If you send a question about water pressure in a new township or ask about a specific project’s sewer layout, we receive your email address and whatever details you include in the message.
  • Basic usage data. Like most websites, we can see aggregated information about which pages are visited and how people find us. This helps us understand whether readers are more interested in gas connection safety or municipal water supply norms.
  • Technical logs. Standard server logs may include IP addresses, browser type, and timestamps. We don’t use these to identify individuals.

How we use this information

The purpose is always the same: to make the content more useful for someone trying to evaluate a property’s infrastructure.

  • To respond to your questions about utility connections, compliance checks, or anything else you send us.
  • To understand which topics need more detailed explanation. If many readers are looking for information on sewer line gradients, we’ll write more about that.
  • To keep the site running properly and fix technical issues when they appear.

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. We don’t share your email address with third parties for marketing. We don’t use your data to build profiles about you.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for basic site functionality. These may remember your preferences if you revisit, or help us understand which pages are most helpful. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any of the content.

We don’t use tracking cookies that follow you across other websites. We don’t run retargeting ads. If that changes in the future, this page will be updated before any new tracking is implemented.

Third-party services

We use a few trusted services to keep the site accessible:

  • Hosting provider: Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs. These are used for security and performance monitoring.
  • Email service: If you contact us, your message is processed through an email service. We don’t add your address to any mailing list without your explicit request.

These providers have their own privacy policies, and we’ve chosen them specifically because they align with our approach: minimal data collection, no unnecessary sharing.

How long we keep data

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer your question and maintain a record of the conversation. If you ask us to delete your emails, we’ll do so. Server logs are typically retained for a short period for security purposes, then automatically deleted.

Your rights

You can request to see what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Since we collect very little, these requests are usually straightforward. Contact us and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you’re in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you’re in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies. We aim to honour the spirit of these regulations regardless of where you’re located.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults researching property purchases or utility infrastructure. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, let us know and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page. We won’t quietly start collecting more information without telling you. The date of the last update will always be visible at the top of this page.

I take this seriously. The same engineering mindset that applies to pipeline integrity applies to data: understand the system, respect the boundaries, and never assume something is safe just because it hasn’t failed yet.
